Episode 5 - Social security is broke. While Ivan believes that the system can be fixed by means testing or raising the retirement age or contribution cap, Jeff insists that the system is structurally unsound, an unsustainable Ponzi scheme and a drag on the economy. He suggests it be replaced by private accounts, invested in American Industry, giving a generous rate of return and a boost to the economy. Ivan doesn't trust markets and prefers taxes and a promise from the government. (65:58)
